a love story

So. My first ever blogpost. Hm what will the topic be? Well maybe about how to make your interior your strategic business partner? How to make your place the talk of the town? To be remembered and talked about? Or maybe my beloved topic, floor plans? That will probably make you steer away though (yes totally fine for now, I will over time gently and friendly brainwash you into interest! (cash incoming if the floor plan planned well, trust me))

No, lets talk about the love of my life. Colour. The beauty of it! The power! It can transform rooms and object in an instant. That truly is power.
Ever since I was a little kid I have been drawing. I remember drawing birds from my uncles book of birds, trying to copy every animal to perfection, how boring the grey/brown/beige ones was. Then came the Kingfisher! Gorgeous blue, green, golden yellow. I was lost.

Why do we love it? The colours of nature? And why for the love of whatever gods, do we not use it enough when it comes to interiors?
Beats me. But every time I finish a project, I´ll get a lot of aahs and oohs, surprised people that had no idea that colour could be used in that specific way.

When things are beige (and yes folks its ALOT of that out there), use colour to stand out. Be what others are not.

Colour has the ability to guide attention, create structure, and improve how people orient themselves within a space. It can signal function, highlight key areas, and subtly influence decision-making. It can also make statements.

When used strategically, colour becomes more than a visual choice. Colour shapes mood and perception, affecting how a brand is experienced and remembered.

The brands that are remembered, gets talked about.
Brands that get talked about? I guess you know what happens to them :)
